Wow. First swear word in Grimney. Might disturb the censor. Cool poem though, I like your bleak nihilistic attitude. Are you an anarchist? Or just a chaos reveler? Welcome to Grimney. You 're probably not going to write a Christmas poem? I'd doubt that.

I agree Gothicka, that's one thing I love about Grimney, the lack of swearing. I don't mind my granddaughter visiting the site for that reason. It's a shame too because Keith Moon Sundaywrites great poems!

Im not an anarchist no. I think its a bit embarrassing when people class themselves as one. I get on with people and everything but i just like to look at ourselves as a race and as an outsider looking in and i suppose thats where it came from.

p.s, cant see anything in the forum rules about swearing. I dont like swearing for swearing sake but i feel if a swear word adds to a line then it is fine.

A debate! Well, I think swearing is fine in poetry, just look at Philip Larkin for another good example. I don't tend to do it, as I write nonsense, but if done right I think it's fine. Just thought I'd say my piece. Right going off to catch some mice...

I'm afraid I agree with the boys Meadow. I think the word was appropriate in this poem and it is used to make impact . If people feel strongly about it, perhaps people could put an alert in this title of the poem if it contains swear words.
