Well you haven't forgotten your powers... That is quite a protection spell you cast last night. I bet the assassin was furious to be repelled from his prey. Your memory problems...Sometimes the past is best forgotten.

Compassion? Believe me my dear Evarne, you don't get very far in this world by being compassionate! My family have worked extremely hard to become the successful land owners that they are. That is why I do not have patience with slackers!
Anyway, let's go and have a look at this little trinket shop you mentioned. I need a gift for one of the nurses at work who is leaving, Something cheap and cheerful will do!

I don't think it is the sort if shop you would find anything cheap... Or cheerful. Magic objects can be powerful and dangerous they are not trinkets. Compassion, something even great witches must have a little of. Otherwise I wouldn't be spending my time making potions for wounded humans to stop my Lady Philomena frombeing distraught. My big warm heart is such a burden but an essential one.
