Right. Let's go... You have to stay in the lantern light.... I know these passageways like the back of my hand. I've been mining down here for months. Mrs Kyle and myself bought this area of Picton some months ago, it's filled with diamonds, the trader who sold us the claim must be kicking himself. So where do you hail from lass? I'm from Golte, you may not know the place, I came her six months ago, left the wife and bairns, I plan to go back rich and give my little ones a better life.

Someone who knows everything? I've met many who think like that. I wouldn't mind having that bird though. He's very plump and juicy and I do like a bit of fresh meat.

Your clam looks a bit dented. What an odd looking thing he is! Can't quite see how you would want to marry that. Still, if you're happy lass.

I won't take your ring. I've got plenty of diamonds to dig from the walls. You take care now. I'll lead you out and you can be on your way.

I dare not go back there, I must get back to Toraz hospital before someone notices I'm missing. Thank you kind sir for your help. When my wizard recovers I will ask him to conjure enough diamonds so that your family can live in luxury for the rest of your days.

Always happy to help. Now I must return to my work. The offer of making diamonds for me is generous, but I'm the kind of dwarf that believes in working hard, and a gift like that would make life too easy, I want to make my own way in this life, and provide for the wife and bairns off my own back. You take care now, and I shall be staying at the tavern when I'm not mining. I like the people there.
