The whimper of the lost,
Yet I
drink of the dawn,
Breathe the sunrise
and crawl into another day.
Shake off the shackles
of the negative ones,
Climb out of the black hole
And step
Into the hope of today.
Draw deep, deep,
yet deeper.
Draw on the
hopes of the young man,
the faith of the son,
the trust of the lover.
Today has just begun.
