I think I might know those two men, they normally work together. Maybe I should go outside and talk to them. What do you think?

Yes he's sleeping now, but he's heard the comings and goings and wants to know what's happening, I told him it was just the usual visitors to the Tavern, but I think he may want to come and see for himself soon!

I think it is better not to confront them, I think it was Devlin that hurt Kalvos in the first place. First stealing our brandy and now threatening our guests, I have a good mind to ban them from drinking here!
We must not let Kalvos be all noble and offer his life, it is him living that stands between war in the mire. We will have lots to explain we he comes downstairs.

That's true. Urat will have been warned, he has friends in high and low places. He'll be worried for you, but if he returned it would certainly mean they'd take him hostage.
It's best to keep Kalvos upstairs. They could see him through the windows, and an arrow could pierce the glass easy enough and find its target.
I'm tempted to go outside, storm or no storm. If it is Karn and Devlin Tryst I might be able to talk to them about what's going on here. They're bad men, but I've been a friend to them in bad times.

I am afraid what might happen if you go outside. We have precious few allies, we cannot afford to lose you.
I hope Urat knows we are safe for now. Perhaps he will see my storm and know we are well.

I'm not the kind to take risks, I've lived a long time. Perhaps I should sit outside the pixies door instead or check on Darius as he seems rather quiet.
