I misspoke earlier, I am sorry. I meant merely to say that such men as Sweeney rarely get the recognition their humble position deserves.

As far as the current situation is concerned, I do not have to be a warrior. It is part of my gift that when violent men face me, they find the fires of their anger quenched. They simply will not desire to fight. In fact, some may even turn on their comrades in order to defend me.

Attacks of a magical kind, curses and the like, that are directed at me are either cancelled, or they are reflected back on the attacker.

If something has happened to Willow, I may be able to restore her to her right mind.

I can extend my protection to all that will accept it.

When men choose the path of violence, they shut off their conscience. They become more like animals. But they store up horrors in their hearts. I can open their minds to these horrors. I can make them see the truth of themselves that they are afraid to face.

Maybe this will be enough for them to turn aside.

I thought I heard willow last night, I am sure her heart is not completely black , we will stand together my friends . Our honesty and friendship will hold strong against those who would harm us and grimney .

Your courage gives my heart joy. The dawn breaks and I ride to Toraz, I shall get a light sword for you and a trident for me. I must confess that I have only done battle with a giant squid and do not think I have it in my heart to kill. I hope that Willow's heart will soften before the end. I do wonder, the boy who died in Toraz, he died in his attempt to rescue her and ultimately he died by Kursk's blade. There is something there that perhaps Glosnik will uncover.

I go shall by Slattern moor, I fancy my chances against the zoorban more than in combat with Kursk. I do hope Kalvos will be fit enough to fight him.
