Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh.
When care is pressing you down a bit.
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is strange with its twists and turns
As every one of us sometimes learns.
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out:
Don't give up though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out -
God's hidden gift in the the clouds of doubt.
And you never can tell how close you are.
It may be near when it seems so far:
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Thanks Tanza feeling a little better this morning! Oh by the way I followed your example and posted a clip of my son performing on my proud mama thread, it's about 2 years old but don't have anything more recent !
You are all great friends here and I thank you your lovely words of comfort and encouragement, it really helped

Ha well in a sense I am, depression has lifted, but then a metal pole fell from behind a door and hit me on the head!!!! Slept for 18 hours, have a massive headache but still here, and the ct scan was clear , so that's something to smile about

Hope your all better now, mood and head.

Amazing what you miss when you've not been here for a couple of days. So sorry I wasn't here to try and help. x
