The elves are complaining about the smell of the trolls. The trolls are complaining that they are being teased by the nixies. The nixes are complaining about the stinky meat that the orcs are roasting. The orcs are complaining about that the thadonites are eating the best grubs. The thadonites are arguing with themselves. The beedledos are annoying everyone. The gnomes are generally happy but people keep stealing their socks... Everyone hates the maurgs.
*The snarg smiles at the glum expression on Elios's face*
And the snargs keep arguing over who gets the biggest sausage from the pan. This is life my friend. A melting pot of cultures, there will always be some clashes. What matters is that we shall stand together when it matters.

So glum Elios? Are you still fretting over the wedding between Princess Philomena and Darl Thranmere? What's done is done, my friend and I believe that Darl Thranmere loves the Princess well. There was little else that could be done, how could we beat the Kanaran Hordes when we are fighting those traitors in the High Council? The Princess has made a noble sacrifice and though it pains me as much as you to see her wed to that barbarian, we must not forget it was the will of the Queen that she marry Thranmere and it is not our place to judge it.
*He sits down wearily*
May the Zoriat speedily bless them with a child, for such a child could spell peace between Kanara and Grimney.

But... yes, patience is needed. Negotiations are taking place, we need the Duke of Farll's help to take the East and as we no longer have the beautiful Princess to dangle in front of him as a prize.

She addresses you as her 'Dear Brother Elf', who else here do you think has the standing of family to the Princess. It is your guilt clouding your judgement and I don't think it is the Princess that you feel sorry for, it is for Kalvos.
*Tynnius looks around the room authoritatively*
Venn Kalvos was a fool. He fought for the right to marry the Princess and then he didn't. He has his chance and let it slipped away, if it had been me I would have married her from my sickbed. But he is to be found and treated with respect. Carados has decreed that when Venn Kalvos is found his is to be offered the rank of Lieutenant General in the army and the command of the 8th Regiment out of respect for the Princess, and Darl Thranmere offers him the hand of peace, both men have acted with honour and dignity.

But I am sure I would have preferred to be married to a Princess. These Elite Knights.... perhaps it is a good job they are banned from love.
We should toast the Princess, by marrying Darl Thranmere she has acheived what a hundred legions could not - she has halted the Kanaran invasion.
