I thought I had lost you
Just hold me
Don't allow me to breathe again
If you are not happy
I cannot live without you
I will not stay
If you choose to leave
Then I will go away

I will remain by your side
For as long as it takes
But if you should decide
To put on life's brakes
Then I will also abide
Diminishing my life
Concluding by death's side

I know I have lost you
For you will never return
Just remember me
As our memories burn
I will always be with you
As death turns
But remember please
Our final Sojourn
