I won't run out of fish... the lake is teeming and there are waterlilly and lakegrass to eat too.

Besides.... I will escape before then. Here I can speak to all the waterkin, the frogs, the waterbirds, the fish... They will get my message to my family and then you will pay!

That is if you don't all drown first. Janc is quite handsome, I might not be so merciful with the less attractive.

Stay here Philomena, after all.... This may well be the place where we bury Kalvos if his fever grows worse.... She can tend his grave when and if you return to dry land.....

I knew she'd be troublesome.... I was against making camp here by the lake.... She is a selfish creature.... Typical of her kind, we should have kept her chained up in a sack.....

That man said he had a fever and might die... that you would bury him here and now he says that Kalvos is not in his care.

Why should I care if his family is in danger? You put my father in danger and my mother through the grief of having a dead child. Do you have any idea how hard that is for an immortal?

As for fighting evil... what proof do I have that you are? All I know is that you kidnapped me to start a bloody civil war that will result in the death of thousands of innocent people. How is that not evil?
