Art verses science People aren't numbers Facts, figures, personality, characteristics Statistical science verses natural artistic pleasure Hard evidence verses dreamy beliefs You can always do what's right, or you can always do what's left Left wing, right wing The evolutionary biology that disproves the idea of a creator God Natural selections acclaim The separation of church and state We'll probably never know who is right

There is a difference in Art vs Science than Science vs Religion. Arts and science actually complement one another, I speak as someone with a science degree who is married to a musician and the daughter of a visual artist. Science is the formation of theories based on evidence, it evolves and is fluid. A true scientist always questions their beliefs, no theory is unshakeable. Religion is a belief regardless of evidence presented. It has a place in our society and had evolved too as scientific knowledge increases our understanding of the world. Very few people now believe that ill people are possessed with demons for example.
