But a Princess ia never given space. Her life is one of open scrutiny and speculation; every smile or frown discussed, every favourite gossiped about... a dislike of a choice meal starting whispers of a belly that will soon be swollen. Here in the mire she has escaped all that, even the lowliest of swamp peasants greet her as just another neighbour.

I do know how you feel, I have waited my whole career to serve a princess and now I am stuck in this swamp! But...
*Her eyes shine with tears*
I love her more than any servant could love her mistress and would go to the very hellpits to be at her side if she needed me.

No.... I can't make tea or bring cheese.... I mean look at me! Do I normally look like this?!
*Garli stumbles in from outside her dress is filthy and stained*.
What better way is there to live?!
*She grumbles*.
Somewhere a lot cleaner! I thought I could live in a castle, and then it all went mad.
*She sits down on a stool and cries*.
My new dress is ruined. I've been hiding in the mire, I did stay in the stable for a while, but it's got horses in it, and they smell awful!
*Garli wipes her face on her dress sleeve smearing her yellow skin with grime*.
I'm a wreck!
*She wails*.
Even my nails are cracked. I'm not happy!!!!!
*She looks at the women gathered around her*.
Where's Philomena?! Is she safe?! I couldn't protect her, not when she needed me.... I'm just a useless Vorte!
*She begins to sob*.

I ran away.... I got lost, I saw the knights when I got back and hid in the stable. I watched the place and as they did not burn it to the ground I came back inside....
*She hugs Philomena and let's go quickly*.
I've made you all messy now!
*Garli sobs again*.
I'm absolutely disgusting.....
*She looks at all the knights*.
I don't feel very safe,
*She wails*.
I'm living in a barracks surrounded by lots of handsome men....
*She puts her head in her hands*.
And I look REVOLTING!

And we can spend all morning tomorrow putting on make-up.

Elios has brought a dozen elf knights here... I think the revolution is about to start.
