Philomena, why would Shayle threaten your father? Isnt she supposed to be taking your defence? I do not understand some things humans do.

Outside the tavern Carados orders one guard to ride to the Wolf Witch and tell her of Kalvos's actions. Then he sends another to the castle to report Shayle's defiance toward the Duke.
*Carados stews
We will see who controls whom around here. No one will ever control me or my daughter.
*He rides away with a new vengeance toward Kalvos.
