Thank you Philomena, I shall blow smoke rings in your honour. I like presents. You know I used to give the wife a different variety of sausage every Tuesday, she loved sausage, bless her. Doesn't seem very romantic I know, but we barely could feed ourselves when we first got together, and some varieties of sausage are very expensive in Grimney. :)

Oh yes, in answer, they are dreadful snobs, but they are not unpleasant, they visit us every year on the way to the Queen's Conference. The husband is hen pecked the wife is overbearing. They may arrive in the next day or so, but they are generally late, the coachman they use is generally drunk and most often gets lost, he's an idiot.

As for the monks, they make too much wine, and simply drink it, they are always brawling, gambling, womanizing and starting fires. But they have some kind of spirit, I guess it might help. Kalvos is improving, no doubt my dear. :D

Best to watch over him though, would be sad if he were to succumb.

Oh my... Executed you say?! My goodness what have those two done? They need straitening out methinks. Hmm, the right trousers? Perhaps I shouldn't ask. Although I am sort of tempted.

The one you will love is someone you fear? But you don't know who he is? He sounds like a bad man. It seems strange to me. Sounds like a villain? A pirate? Tempest perhaps?

I hope not Tempest, I have spent too many tears on that man. Darius thought Tempest was probably dead, do you know differently? The cloaked man, could be many who pass through the mire I do not know if I fear him rather than fear the idea of loving him. Marriages between mermaids and humans rarely work well. I choose not to look.

Hmmm snobs. Could be fun. Perhaps Xibes and I should insist on being addressed by our proper titles while they visit? :lol:

Poor Kalvos, I hope he is not in too much pain. I shall sing some sweet dreams in his ear and stroke his hair as he sleeps.

Kalvos is sleeping peacefully but I'm sure your presence will soothe him further Philomena, and who knows maybe he is the cloaked man whose face you cannot see! :)
Has eve not returned yet ?
Urat How glad I am to see you back in the Tavern, I have missed you :)
Did I hear Glosnik here earlier, he seems very solemn, but has a calming presence I feel .

Now shall we all have a drink together to celebrate the return of Xibes and the recovery of Kalvos ? ! :D

Yes Gwen dearest I shall join you for a drink to celebrate. Kalvos the cloaked man? I had not thought of that. A possibilty that could cause as much heartache as loving Tempest, although their natures are so different.

How fares your day Gwenllian? Have you learned any more about your rune stones?

No not yet, but I carry them with me , in case I should meet anyone who knows the secret of how to read them, I have a feeling they are important, but whether to me or to Grimney I cannot tell, I found them, so they are not truly mine, so maybe their message is not for me alone but for all of us !
