I see it as more of a calling than a career. I do like to see people looking their best. Have you noticed how much happier Urat is since I gave him that beard comb, not to mention better groomed.

Well, I have consumed my fine feast, and I shall now retire to my bed. You run a delightful tavern ladies. I would like a room, the finest and most expensive you have if I may. I would like a bath prepared too, scented naturally. I do like to go for a run first thing, may I ask is there a safe path that I may take? As I have no wish to get my feet wet.

I will prepare your bath, I have a lovely blend of goldstar flower and lillikin oil which is perfect for invigorating your skin, leaving it as soft and supple as elven silk. I'll also leave you a little rosewort oil for your hair, you will be amazed how shiny it is afterwards.

Yes an exquisite choice. I look after my skin as you can see. I use jaynus oil, and kelpie balm most of the time. I know it's very expensive, a jar of the latter can set you back by three hundred tobran, but it keeps me wrinkle free and that's the main thing.

Yes madam mermaid, I have my socks made out of elven silk, by Runcible Kloon, I would imagine that someone as fashionable as you would know that designer!

I must say I like your hair, what do you use to make it shine so? Rosewart, that will do nicely, I am assuming that is what you are using on yours? It looks so soft and bouncy. Catches the candlelight whenever you turn your head.

That Felix is a strange man, seems to like telling you the price of dead things all the time, still it is nice to meet a man who is nicely groomed. No wonder so many people keep their hoods up all the time. He did make me laugh with the kelpie balm, it's what unscrupulous traders call hog fat mixed with sludge kelp. Does work well on wrinkles though, not that I have to worry about wrinkles, that is the joy of immortal beauty.

I think you should double your prices for him Gwenllian, he likes things more when they are expensive!

Still no Urat or Kalvos? I shall set out once more, I may not be back until sunrise tomorrow but do not fear, I shall be back with kisses for all even Urat and Kalvos!

I think you are right about Felix he seems to know the price of everything and the value of nothing !!! definitely double prices. No sign of Urat yet, maybe he has found Kalvos and is staying with him until he is well enough to travel , let us hope so.

Right Kalvos, let’s get you upstairs sir, you’ll need to sleep, I’ll get my needle and thread and I will sow up your wounds. Little point in me carting you off to Toraz, the doctor there is dead.

At least Philomena will be relieved. You’ll have to stay indoors for a few days, no more hunting outlaws and bandits, best red for you. Who attacked you?

Don't talk, let me help you. You just need rest, and to give yourself time for your injuries to heal. I'll bring you water and bandage you up as best I can, I'm no doctor mind, but it's the best you've got at this time.
