Dreams, everybody has a dream
Whether or not, you remember them
In mine I look my best & lean
Always the one out to get 'em
In my dreams sometimes people
Re-appear as birds or animals
Some cute, some definitely not
Occasionally I have a bizarre one
& last night's was hot to trot
Dreams, everybody has a dream
Some of fear and some of hope
Playing on a football team
Or ruling in Rome as Pope
Dreams, everybody has a dream
With more characters than in Disney
In a never ending colourful stream
Last night, Alexa slid down my chimney :D
