Greetings Elvira! That introduction to the story interestingly enough came through to me (I am one of what we call the Circle of Overseers, who evaluate the poems and stories) Regardless of that I very much approve! Guess it was fate then Elvira. I came here through a suggestion from my grandson. He knows I like to read. Watching online news and reading wikipedia was starting to bore me a little. As for twitter, I have very little interest to talk about my generally rather uneventful days. I simply need something to do while the potatoes and pumpkins grow, so between cups of tea and the wife asking me to put the rubbish out and push the trolley around the supermarket (Always good because it gives me a set of solid wheels to lean on!) I come here. I've always liked fantasy and poetry, as a teen I loved C.S Lewis and Tolkien, but xbox and that world of warcraft is far too hectic for my tastes! Although I think we are an island unto ourselves in this Land! :roll:

D'you know Twitter is beyond me. Every so often I think of offering up a tweet (look at me knowing the lingo!) but by the time I've thought about it for a while I've bored myself. I've seen tweets from The Huffington Post though and they are good for finding out what's going on RIGHT NOW in the world http://www.huffingtonpost.com/

Grimney is, as you quite rightly state, an island of ideas in a sloshing sea of normal :)

I'm currently working on a way of being able to download my dreams, as examples of the fantastical. They'd have to be posted anonymously of course; I'd like to avoid being certified for as long as possible!!

Off to post a poem, catch you later!

Fantastic to see a thriving community forming at last. I have longed to see this. Thank you all for bringing life to the forums and for showing us your creative skills, it is good to see! As requested I have spent long hours updating requested avatars. Some you have chosen for yourselves from pictures you sent, others I picked for you, but they were as close as I could find to what you had asked for. If any other member requires a picture let me know. All the best to you all and a big thank you, I shall be reading your creative efforts often.
