I've heard about your plight, it is a painful saga. Grimney faces war with Kanara, so I don't know whether the army would help you, as it's a domestic dispute... They might even hand you over to keep the peace. I will not mention this to any other soul, and Philomena will remain quiet on the matter I'm sure.

Wizards and Warlocks, Witches and the like, there are many.... The Queen's Coven? I only really know of them. Witch and Wayland, but he is some kind of pilgrim. I must think. Don't you have magical powers? I know that your mother has tamed the sky demon, so who would wish to fight against her?

I have heard of a secret sect over in Kil Kar Koon, or is that in the Maljoras Mountains? A mighty clan of spell casters, but they may simply be a myth. I shall ask around. Korben Drake is well travelled, but he is on the run, and hard to locate. He might have some ideas.

I care about my patrons. I shall do all I can to help you. I do not wish to lose anyone else! Do take care through the swamp, it is not safe our there at night. I understand you must return to eve, but you can always stay here at the tavern another night if need be. Good night Xibes Winter. Safe journey. I think the bar must close the night has grown very old.

I hope Gwenllian returned home safely, you don't realize how important someone in Grimney is until they are gone to the stars.

Xibes should not have been allowed to leave alone. Her words froze upon the air, did you not see? I shall follow her at a distance. I will not allow anyone to harm the ice maiden, and if they try, I will protect her to the death.

I shall ride for munchkin manor to protect them both. Thank you for your hospitality Urat. Your patrons are a joy to observe. I do hope that Philomena stays at the tavern, she has much courage.

One last thing... Xibes asked a question, I shall answer it just in case I am lost to the swamp.

Am I love sick? Sadly, I know very little of such things, love is a ghost. I am career soldier and I have spent my life at war. When you’ve scorched the land, and left nothing but ash underfoot, you start to value simple and natural beauty. Until tomorrow good sir. I bid you farewell.

Kalvos, do take care... I know that you're brave, but many a brave man has met a terrible fate in that drowning swamp. The bog beast has slain many a fearless warrior, swallowed down horse and all.

The bar is now closed! Drink up please. The night is done!

Yes, and I've got a privy to clean! This Thyme will come in handy, and I am most grateful, it smells better than my feet! :)

Morning Urat, sorry I did not say goodbye, I heard to storm calling me and followed its call. Ended up riding into Slattern moor, less said about that the better. I have maybe something that will help our little ice maiden, a song so ancient that it has no words. It will awaken maternal love however deep it is buried in an icy heart. I shall head down to munchkin manor and sing that song.

Poor Kalvos, I wish I knew what the cause of his sadness is, then perhaps we could find a way to soothe his heavy heart. You have seen many a sad stranger in your bar Urat, what do you think can be done? When I come to the bar later I will ask him to join us for a drink, I think he is a little lonely.

I think I shall move back to Grimney lake, I miss my mermaid talk with Cassandra and I hear the gwump is having some problems with the local boys. I am sure I can charm them into leaving him alone for a little while.

This is astonishing! Blue Golus flowers! I have only known them as yellow or red, but I found a whole patch of blue ones at the western edge of the woods. I daren't pick any, in case they are rare.

They sound delightful Wayland. I do love flowers. Someone has left a rose at my table, I wonder if it was eve. She griows such pretty flowers in her garden.

Blue Golus flowers Wayland? Where? In Darkwood? Beyond the mire?

Gwenllian, thank you, so glad you slept well! We need a barrel of lipseed, two boxes of grimati fruit, fresh radigons and a crate of dewberry. Thank you very much for asking! :D

Slattern moor Philomena! Really do think you should avoid that place, I hope you did not encounter the Zoorban?!

I hope your song brought some comfort to those in munchin manor. Would be a tragedy were something to happen to them. Kalvos, yes he returned early this morning and is now on the trail of the outlaw who rode into Toraz a day or two ago.

We do have some sad strangers, but there are happy faces too! What can be done for Kalvos? I do not know. Soldiering can be a very painful experience.

Poor Gwump, I hate to see that creature mistreated, he’s very charming company when you catch him on a good day. Oh Darius has gone in search of Silas, he left three hours ago.

Move back to the lake?! I hope you will still visit us!

I did not mean to go on the moor, I just followed the storm. I saw nothing there but distant lanterns, the kelpie galloped us from there swift and true. He really is amazing.

I hope my song has woven its charm around their little home, it is an ancient and powerful magic that should protect them well.

So Kalvos is on the trail of the assassin and then what? Some more blood spilt, another life lost. It was good of him to protect Xibes, although his knowledge of her makes me uneasy. He is a good man but devoted to his cause, he will sacrifice her if ordered. How can he know so little of love? It is so sad, I hope he gets to experience love before this foolish war begins. To die without love is the worst tragedy.

The gwump is an absolute sweetheart despite how he looks. Have you ever seen his paintings Urat? They are amazingly beautiful and he is doing a wonderful picture of the kelpie. I shall always come to visit, it is hardly a journey at all on the kelpies swift back.

I hope Darius returns with Silas, I cannot wait to see that old face of his. He saved me once, dear man.
