Yes. I think I'd like that. As long as you're right about the cottage. And I am sure you are.
*He takes Karina in his arm and grips Philomena gently by the hand. He leads them both to the cottage*.
One day we'll have a little place like this. Maybe by a lake. I know you'd like that. Or even by the sea, where you can teach Karina and I to swim.

Yes. We'd all be happy here. Although I am happy at the tavern with Gwenllian, Meadow and Urat. A home from home.

No, Wayland's cottage is the next one along. This is Shevron Crow's holiday cottage but he used to let me borrow it to entertain...

I forgot, I am not supposed to talk of such things to my husband-to-be.

My home ia the Dudrassa.... But it cannot be your home. The tavern yes... It is full of friends. It is a more peaceful place now Meadow lives at Bumblescrack's.
*Philomena looks up at the stars.*
I think you would be happy anywhere you see the stars.... and I will be happy anywhere, as long as I know you are safe and by my side.

Meadow. A very spirited, and lively girl. I for one will miss her.
*Kalvos stares up at the stars*.
The stars are ours. Whenever I’m with you I’m up amongst them. We’ll always be together. And I so look forward to watching Karina grow up, I wonder what she will be? Where her dreams will take her?
*He cuddles the baby and kisses her forehead*.

I cannot believe how fast she grows. I hope that we do not find it necessary to send her to stay with my mother, hopefully we can stop Keeler before things get too bad. You would only miss Meadow because you have never been at the receiving end of her rage, I'm sure the doctors will put her right though.
*Philomena sighs.*
Guests for the anointing? Have you decided when that will be? We must invite the Gwump and the Snoog, do not forget them my darling, and cousin Cassandra too... although I am not sure I will want you to meet another beautiful mermaid, you might think you have choosen poorly when you see her! She has such a shiny tail.

Keeler will be stopped. Although Sir Robert has not seen or heard from the man in weeks. The Dark Brotherhood have also vanished along with several other knights. But no matter.
*He rubs his nose against Karina’s and smiles and makes funny faces making her chuckle*.
You’re my little Princess, you’ll always be that.
*He smiles at Philomena*.
I would like Lord Rackham to attend, Sir Robert, Drayger, although he’s vanished. Elios and Trylax, again he’s missing too. Also a few other colleagues. I’d like to have had Darius Kane join us, but the tragedy of his fate....
*He sighs*.
And Kerdisha and Leeandra. They’ll be missed too.
*He nods*.
And yes, let’s hope that Meadow is well enough to attend. But Snoog, and the Gwump. Yes, they’d be most welcome. And of course your mermaid cousin. It was never about shiny tails, more a meeting of minds angel.
*He kisses the mermaid*.
But there is no one more beautiful than you, that’s clear in my thoughts. And yes. I will buy this cottage if you would really like it. We’d be happy here certainly.

Most important is Gwenllian of course, for I would be under palace arrest in the Dudrassa and you would be dead if it wasn't for my dearest friend... It's a shame my mother cannot attend, I am sure she would love to meet you. Maybe my grandmother will relent. There are some faries I would like to invite as well as Alfreda and Arabella, Sweeney Green, Dave the Cat, SMacca, Shevron Crow, Robert Devlin, Jeremiah Crockle, Jacob Vask, Lord Devron Karn... All my other friends, well they won't come if there are that many knights!
*She gives a wry smile.*
Even the law-abiding ones.
*The mermaid pouts.*
I thought it was clear I did nor want Meadow, she offends people and causes trouble. Zoriat knows Karina's life will be troublesome enough.
