Yes. The boy, knife wound I think. Philomena took him to Toraz, at least that's what I heard from Urat, and Jacob Vask. Found him wandering lost in the mire, the poor chap. Yes. Debra Cobra. I know her, quiet girl, one of the elf folk, think she lives in Myglas, small village just North of here, days ride mind. Would you like a brandy?

You've been most helpful, a golden sovereign for your trouble. I shall decline the brandy. The night awaits and the journey is long. No rest for the wicked.

Glad to be of service to you sir. Thank you for the sovereign I shall put it to good use at the gaming table. Goodnight and safe journey. Do be careful in the mire it can be a dangerous place when travelling at night! Oh and there is a knight named Kalvos out there too, if you are an outlaw he could try to arrest you!

Last orders anyone?! Yes... I'll have another glass of brandy if you don't mind Darius. No I don't mind at all Darius.
:P

Thank you again, I will take heed of your warning, I'm no friend of knights, and should I see him, I will take care. I must ride.

What have you been saying? Great Grimney, why so much honesty all of a sudden. You may have put many lives in danger but I can not undo it now.

I knew Captain Tempest a long time ago, knew a side of him few knew. Yes a cruel man but also a passionate one.

You know Silas? Then perhaps you will do me a favour. Go to all the bawdy houses by the port and see if you can bring him back here. I'll give you twenty tobran for expenses and give you fifty more if you bring him here.

Did I? I have always been quite honest, he seemed perfectly friendly to me. I was always told not to judge by appearances. He gave me a gold sovereign, just look at the way it shines in the candlelight. It's quite splendid isn't it?

You seem to rather like men don't you Philomena? As for Captain Tempest I think whatever side he showed, it would not appeal to me.

Indeed I do know Silas, but a very long time ago! He may have changed a little by now.

I'll look for that old dog for you. In exchange of course... If you can explain the loss of the brandy and clear my tab. If you agree to that, then I shall assist you in your search, it would be my pleasure to help a damsel in distress.

Have you ever met a mermaid that didn't like men? I seem to like rather dangerous ones though.

I'll clear your tab and pay for your brandy. Gold is beautiful but. I care little for it. My hair shines as brightly so I would prefer to stare at myself in the mirror than gold.

I've not met that many mermaids, other than the ones that used to get caught in our trawling nets, and they were always rather grumpy.

You can't value physical beauty above gold, isn't that rather shallow? Thank you, I would pay it off myself but I've been a bit short of late. I've been spending my money on medicine for my poor sick aunt.

I've heard that you are a princess, you must be very rich. I think you and I might get on quite well. I must turn in, I hope that Urat pays me for this. I've put in a good few hours behind the bar. Goodnight my lady. ;)

I'm back to pay Darius Kane's tab. What a funny man he is. If he had an endless supply of gold he wouldn't be an happier or any richer. His relations seem to be very sickly. A princess? We have no such rank but my mother is one of the fifty daughters of the Queen of the Crested Wave, who is a powerful and most loved mermaid. I must tell her tale sometime. I am rich indeed in looks and song and that is all the wealth we care for. We do not trade in gold or silver beneath the waved that is mankind's folly not ours.

Thank you. Although I am not sure you should help out that scoundrel, although his heart is probably in the right place. The money he has he gambles, Between you and me I think he does have a family somewhere, but he rarely sees them, you'll mainly find him in the gaming room with Morten Loret, and Shevron Crow, amongst others. They live to gamble. I've never been fussed with money either, I've seen greed undo many a good life. Yes do tell me your story sometime, I'd like to know more!

Fifty daughters, goodness! I hope they are not all twins! :o

I hope that Xibes Winter and evenieve helped out that knight, we really would not want anything to happen to him, the price would be grave for us all if it did!
