As the granddaughter of a queen, a Princess of the True Bloodline and cousin to almost every crowned head on land and sea, I find it incredible that Queen Eleanour has willingly yielded so much power to the High Council. I must speak to Sir Robert, I am sure he must know a way to contact them.

The Queen is the Head of State Princess. But politicians govern the land. Lords, Ladies and Overlords, Barons, Baronesses and Earls. They also play their part. The Queen is a recluse. A mystery to some and never seen in public.

I have no knowledge as to why this should be, but that is the way it is. I remain loyal to her regardless.

You could speak to Sir Robert. But whether he will give you their names. I do not know, he may not be aware of their identities either.

Politicians bah! Another reason I prefer the sea to the land. Politicians cause war and misery, forever embroiled intrigues and power struggles.

I don't need their names, I could write them a letter explaining the situation. They wouldn't be losing a loyal knight but gaining a powerful storm maiden's goodwill. More importantly they would be letting good and love triumph over evil.

The High Council have done many good things. They refused Grimwood Scribes a place, so they cannot be all bad.

If you give the letter to Sir Robert I am sure he would deliver it for you. I am certain that you would have some impact on proceedings.

The Queen’s Elite try to be principled. You may think that we fall short, but our intentions have always been to maintain peace and protect all those who live in Grimney.

I wasn't saying Arabella wasn't willing. Believe me knight you would feel the force of my displeasure and Sir Robert's too, if I thought you were forcing your attentions on her...but I wish Arabella a happier lot that being involved with a knight. You would not treat her as well as she deserves and not be able to love her like she merits.

Still a little unwell, Menippe is doing me up! She thinks I have damaged my health by carrying a baby on land and giving birth in a river rather than the sea. She's probably right.
