Out of the blue he came
When life was calm and still
To woo me with his words
And slay me with his quill

He read my thoughts like paperbacks
Upon my soul he dined
On snowy melting mountain tops
Two strangers hearts entwined

No name No rank No number
Did he divulge to me
But my heart opened like a rose
That bloomed for all to see

In warm and gentle sunbeams
He bathed my troubled mind
Then I awoke and reached for him
No trace he left behind

Now memories are all I have
Here comes the cruel twist
Our love will last forever
Though it never did exist

Hah...really like that. I think your forte is poetry, I really do. There's a definite style about your work. I can't seem to decide how I want my poetry to be. Never was very good at the 'being consistent' thing, but at least I'm 'persistent'! Best to write something, just in case it grows into something wonderful, than to write nothing and...well...be boring.

Now look what he's doing!
Wooing me openly
It's plain to see why my sweet love
Makes me go weak at knee

He called me HIS BABY!
Made me go squidgy inside
So maybe now just maybe
True feelings he did hide

I may get a happy ending
After all is said and done
Just look at the size of his jelly baby!
I think his heart I've won!
