There have been reports of incursions by the FWM (Fairies With Machineguns) over our northern borders. They are the terrorist branch of the Organisation for Sprite Equality. Do not approach them.

Two days hence, I will be joining a band of travellers bound for the Great City. We have been commanded by the King to seek out those of his subjects currently held in thrall by the Pretender. We have words and signs that, hopefully, will awaken our lost brothers and sisters so that they can join us in joyful service to the King.

There is a celebration to be held in the Great City on Saturday. People will be coming from hundreds of miles away to take part in the procession and festival to be held in the square of Tarf al-Gharb below the Admiral's Column.

Interesting Wayland. Fairies with machine guns? Now, we are aware that travellers from other realms bring in weapons that we have not encountered before. Should they cause problems, they will be eliminated. Who is this Pretender? As for the King, that corpulent and opulent wastrel is not someone we concern ourselves with, he is merely a forgotten figurehead and the Queen is the one we serve. Although, I've never been a Royalist, so I shall not be attending the festival you speak of. Anyway men, we must head to the tavern, I wish to be there by nightfall. Sharpen your swords.

Holmes tavern was the proud host of the Red Hand last night. Those tavern regulars disappointed not to have met the brave knights yesterday will be pleased to know that one of them will be staying in the mire for sometime to see once and for all that the malicious falsehoods that Urat Holme associates with outlaws are simply not true.

In other news a lone masked assassin rode into Toraz in the early hours of this morning. He entered Dr Milton Crane's surgical and medical facility at the corner of Bow Street. Armed with a twin bladed dagger he struck down a nurse, and killed the Doctor before entering the room of an unknown man, and killing him also. He left three gold sovereigns and apologised to a terrified orderly, with the chilling words. "No rest for the wicked"... He mounted his white maned black stallion and rode out with little resistence from the terrified populence. The Grimney police are investigating.

In other news, Jeremiah Crockle, the master gardener has won yet another award at the 'Festival of Giant Vegetables' in Zoriat. His prize grimati fruit needed six men to lift it from the cart! He said proudly that. "I couldn't have done it without the aid of kelpie manure!"

Gideon, we do not refer to the same king. The King I serve has no political ambitions on Grimney or any other nation. I, and others of his people, are dispersed amongst the nations. The King has commanded us to achieve other objectives.

1) To identify his subjects and restore them to him. Many have been ensnared by opponents of the King, and their true nature submerged below a cloak of a new identity. Very often, this identity is the total opposite of the citizen's true nature. For instance, a healer might have the appearance and nature of a torturer or assassin concealing their true self.

2) To bring peace in all forms to those that truly desire it. This may be peace of the body in the form of healing; peace of the mind in the form of removing anxiety and fear; peace of the soul by the banishing of demons; peace of the spirit in the form of releasing curses. There is also peace of society in the form of mercy and justice.

3) To help those in need, wherever we can. We have little use for money, so our help is usually of a practical nature; feeding, clothing, shelter and so on.

4) To build communities of citizens based on love, forgiveness, mercy and kindness.

In other news....man found beaten to death with his own arm. When they asked her why she did it she replied
'It was mainly out of irritation. He kept going on about being 'armless, well now he is!'

As they carted her off to have her brain squeezed she added
'well, you've got to have a sense of humour, too much piety shrivels the soul  !!'

Baggage, these persons you speak of. Are they citizens of Grimney?

The King I serve is King Duwyn Arbed, of the House of Lanais Fa An Nor.

Elvira, you might like this one.

I had an English Language teacher who always looked serious. It wasn’t that he was grumpy or anything, just that he never seemed exactly cheerful.

What endeared him to people was his love of legends. Whenever I spoke to him, he would tell me something fascinating about Hercules, or Ulysses, Theseus or Achilles.

I suppose, for him, a myth was as good as a smile.
