Menda! Menda! What a city!
All the women there are pretty
No-one ever breaks the law
No need to ever lock your door

Younglings know how to behave
Menfolk never have to shave
Ladies have no love for shoes
Nobody ever sings the blues

The council have declared "No Tax!"
There's everlasting candle wax
Doglings pick up their own mess
Criminals always confess

I'd love to move there if I could
Everything would be so good
I'd never write this kind of ditty
If we all lived in Menda City
