The sun is shining like a big yellow ball
I want to go and play
so what a dreadful crying shame
I was off work yesterday

I like your dittys I like you rhyme
Wish I could do it all the time
But what would happen if I ran out of words
Although that idea would be quite absurd

Words can flow like a torrent running through,
cascading down into a pool so blue,
to churn up swirls and sands long flat,
and ask questions of why and this and that.

I love a good window, no really, I do
Sometimes I lick them clean - yes, it's true!
But there's one kind of window I cannot abide
The 'all day' delivery that keeps me inside!

Radiator paint
Is the best, I feel
As it's crunchy flakes
Are easily peeled

the water ripples but i dont hear,
the birds are singing with a hearty cheer,
summer is here and the flowers come through,
but I dont care I am waiting for you.

In the dark and cold, I wait.
Dawn comes, but still no heat.
Then sun rises and warms all around
And once again, I'm outward bound.
