Here we are using words
But no one knows what the other does
What is real and what is fake
But we are here when awake

Try we might to show deep inside
All the things we usually hide
But someone tell me why the mask
Of the nicknames I must ask

Do we dare to show ourselves
And so to gain our true wealth
I think no we cannot bare
The thought of others lingering stare

Wayland Cybersmith was, originally, the name of the IT company that I owned (sounds big, it was just me). I contracted it to Waycyber, and, because I found that it was not used by anyone but me, decided to keep it. I named the company after Wayland the Smith from legend. In Grimney, Wayland Cybersmith has another existence.

Don't know if anyone will reveal themselves completely, but most share little bits with what they write.

Hi Witch,
Exciting isn't it! A bit of change can be good for the soul, excitement, adventure....insecurity in the face of the unknown :)
I quite like the unknown...it can be anything you want it to be until you know it; then it just is what it is.
In fact that's almost quantum!

I've been Tanza for many years now. I think it's nice to have a name that you feel comfortable with. When I'm sure about a place, I use it...often causing a stir, but only with the best of intentions you understand. Some do try to steal it, which slightly irritates, especially when it's done purely to annoy me. Still...it keeps me on my hooves.

I'm sure the new Grimney will allow us to show as much or as little of ourselves as we wish. Nobody will be encouraging anyone to divilge private matters they would rather keep to themselves and nobody will be seen to be any less important here if, indeed, they do choose to share their personal lives. Grimney thrives because people can do what they want, say what they want and be who they want. Yay us!!

So don't feel pressured into disclosing things you are uncomfortable with sharing. Sometimes, we need to hold back a bit to feel more in control. Sometimes, we worry that the more people know about us, the more they can hurt us and use what we've told them to break us down. I really hope we never see it here in Grimney...and I think...if we do see anything like that happening...we'll be straight round there with a couple of barbecue forks!! Wahay!!

Personally, I don't care...it's my age I think. If someone doesn't approve of our lives, what's it got do with them anyway! We can only hope they'll get a life of their own one day and not need to bother with ours!!...I will pity them. Ahem.

So...if you want to call yourself Fannybum Wonkybosem and post a picture of a Smurf as your avatar...go right ahead! I'd actually love to see that!! (the name...not the actual fanny, bum or wonky bosems) <childish snigger>

You would appreciate her for sure, Don1. She was in my class at school...her bosom wasn't so wonky then though.
