Drake is of little consequence where my safety is concerned. As a creature who would associate with the Devil himself on any occasion he so wishes, I have no worries to speak of.

I am only interested in my own existence and that of the peasants who allow me to walk among them unashamed and untormented. The extermination of all those who would seek to destroy us will become a reality in time.

For now...remember to keep the Devil close. As long as you occasionally agree to his terms, he will not cause mischief. But...profess to be better, stronger and more virtuous than any other...and he will not stop until he has pulled you down to his fiery home.

You do well to remember his strength remains steady against you, because you do not show him your demons. Once he has caught sight of them, he will forget you and you can push forward with your plans. He will assume you are working with him...not against.

Beware though...the Devil returns often, and at unmeasured intervals, to catch you out.

Drake? I would have to know more of his crimes and mistakes before considering my position with him. So far, he has not invoked my wrath.

Who is Hogstance Bilgecrack III? Are you insulting Tanza? Mocking Grimney?

1. A figment of my imagination.

2. Heck no. I don't wish to be eaten.

3. Of course not.

A figment of your imagination am I? I think you are mistaken, we spent time together in the tavern last week drinking ale, and eating radigan pie. Although I dropped the III as I dislike it, as it makes me sound pompous. Hmm, as for Korben Drake, I know he is a criminal, but I have always found him quite charming.

My imagination is even more powerful than I dreamt. Bilgey? Is that really you? If so, how is Milgrave Grabswoggle? I've missed her so.

As for dropping your title, III, in my humble opinion this does a great disservice to the two GREAT 'men' that bore the name before you but I appreciate that you wish to be your own person.

I must admit that I do not know Korben Drake...so I cannot possibly comment on his character or indeed his whereabouts.

Well you know me Leggy, never been one for flashiness, not my kind of thing at all. Yes my brood parents were both great men, although more like great ogres. Milgrave, kind of you to ask, she's doing fine, at home cooking my supper. She still as green and beautiful as she always was. She sends her love, we often talk about the olden days, the adventures we had, such happy memories.

Ah, Bilgey! Dear Bilgey! Please let Milgrave know that I'm thinking of her. You are lucky. She makes the best radigan pie on your side of the Schteepes. I've often come close to shedding a tear whilst recalling our youthful shenanigans...and WOULD have if my nasolacrimals hadn't been sucked out by that vinkering peeskrat. Of course I don't have to tell you about that - you were lucky to escape with your taggler still attached that day!

She'll be overjoyed that you said that. Don't tell me you're still hanging around the Schteepes? That's an awful place, although Malwag Spluttrutter still does a great radigan pie, Milgrave will be so flattered that you find her's superiour, I think it comes down to good seasoning and she does breed her own radigans as you know and they are always good and plump when they end up in the pies! Yes Leggy, our youthful shenanigans! I remember sticking my head down that vinkering peeskrat hole, how you laughed when it came out with its teeth clamped around my snozwanger. Still you suffered too when it clamped its choppers on your nasalacrimals! And you're right, I was lucky I didn't lose my taggler! Good times, though, such good times!

...so, who does share his bed? Not I. Of course it is every creature's wildest dream to invite a yellow and blue human into their lair. However, somehow, I have managed to resist!!
