I feel I have to tell you about my lovely friend who died on Tuesday 27 December. She was the original hippy chick...misunderstood by most, but loved dearly by those who mattered the most. She let everyone around her live their lives as they wished, without judgement, and all she wanted was to be afforded the same in return. We had a great rapport and I am truly gutted to have lost her. I wont go into too much detail, as her business is not mine to tell. I just wanted to share.
Please, everyone, remember to live and let live. We are not all perfect, but we all bring something wonderful to this world and deserve to be free to live our lives as we please and achieve our dreams without question or criticism...whatever they may be.
My gorgeous friend, Debbie, was well-known for her brightly-coloured lipstick and, at every opportunity, she would just pull it out of her bag and slap it on...no mirror...no fuss. She really was an amazing and inspirational woman.

Tanza, I am really sorry for your loss and your friend sounds like a brilliant woman. It is lovely for you to do a memorial for he like this and I am honoured you wanted to share this with us. Sorry I am not saying anything more comforting, I am not great at knowing what to say in these situations.

Well...there's nothing to be said really. I'm just glad to have been lucky enough to have her in my life. She gave a lot to my life and vice versa. It's not often you find someone who really gets you and when you do find them, you really know what real friendship is. I'm so lucky to have known that. She was seriously one in a trillion!
I am definitely going to write a poem for her, but the shock needs to subside and my thoughts need to focus. Aside from this shock...xmas was actually fantastic here in the Schmidt household!! Plenty of madness and not enough sleep!

Heart breaking Tanza. Like you said, there's nothing that can be said to make it any better. I don't know what you believe but I think she will have gone on to a better life and will be spreading happiness somewhere else now. I really feel for you.xx
