You left me behind when you moved on
One day you were here , then you were gone

You left me behind and I didn't know why
no more to laugh, but only to cry

You left me behind in this cold, lonely place
While you travelled on through time and through space

You left me behind, what was I to do?
when half of my life was gone with you

You left me behind and slowly I grew
until one day I was whole and new

You left me behind, and finally I see
You left me behind so that I could find me
