In fairness, we didn't know. I was guarding outside. Leeandra was on the roof. The others were asleep. We'd just rotated the watch. What do you want me to do? Ask Keeler to leave? You wanted to slit the elf's throat the other day. Why the change of heart?

I had heard you were going to be killed and I blamed the elf, I was angry but my anger soon fades... I couldn't do what that brute had done to the elf, not in cold blood. I have never killed or hurt anyone except in defence and even those deaths haunt me. You don't need to ask Keeler to leave, why won't you just let me stay in the Cabal in peace instead of riding out to the mire and putting us both in needless danger? If you insist on me returning...

I will come back with you my love, I can never stay angry at you when you look at me with those sad eyes of yours. I will ask Meadow to return too but she is pretty upset too. Please make sure that the ladies of the tavern are no longer harassed and that there is no more torture. We are giving Jezebel back to Kursk in exchange for Darius, she must be unharmed. Can you persuade the other knights to do this? I can't imagine they consider the life of a drunken gambler to be worth very much.

Kalvos my darling, what do you think? We could stay here tonight if you think it is best. You can show me the stars. I'm happy to ride back tonight but I am the only one with a kelpie so you would both be quite slow. Perhaps we could all fly back on kitty? That is Meadow's dragon circling us above.
Does the fire keep us safe? We never have fire back home except when you land dwellers have great sea battles and we watch as your ships burn. It is the water surrounding us that makes me feel safe.

Sister the fire will keep us safe, most creatures steer well clear. I'm going to sleep. I've had a busy day. No one rides this far out anyway, folk in the mire think this place is cursed.

I will make sure that no one else is tortured, and no one will be harassed. I will talk to Keeler and straighen him out, as for the others, they're fighters not torturers.
Darius Kane is a good swordsman, we all know of him, he had a reputation once before he took to drinking and gambling.
Riding a dragon home. Not sure it's something I wish to do. I don't like heights much. Like to keep my feet on the ground. I suppose we could stay here, although not sure there are many stars up there tonight, we'll just snuggle up together by the fire and keep each other warm.

As you wish my love, although you really should ride a dragon one day even though it is very hard to stop your hair from getting windswept.
*Philomena cuddles up to Kalvos and watches as Jonas snores by the campfire. She kisses the knight on his cheek.*
My darling boy, feet on the ground and head in the clouds...It is nice having some time alone together, even if it is in the middle of the swamp. I have told you so many stories of my hone and family Kalvos, why don't you tell me about yours? I wonder if your family would like me?
