Where is Urat and Sweeney? I see a few new faces in the tavern.
As for my fall from grace, and my subsequent incarceration. Well, Silas and I have similar interests and tastes, and we ran into a bit of trouble in a tavern in Dudrassa Port.
I am rather fond of the ladies as you know. Well, one thing led to another and Silas had to assist me when the young woman's husband in question became a little annoyed.
A most unfortunate set of events followed, and we found ourselves arrested.

Hmmm yes I thought it would be your fault. Sweeney is locked in his room and Urat can't cross the mire for fear of Slayvern Kursk and his gang slitting his throat. There has been a teensy bit of trouble here you see. I'm trying to think how resolve it without wholesale slaughter but it is a bit tricky. I wouldn't leave if I were you Darius, there are many watchers in the mire.
Have a glass of brandy.

Oh dear, things do sound grim.
A glass of brandy, that will do very well. You thought it would be my fault? Well, you were correct, although I think the husband overreacted just a tad. Some people are far too sensitive.
Slayvern Kursk... I know of him, he's quite mad, but makes very nice cakes so I've heard.
Concern yourself no more, I have my sword, and I am quite prepared to defend your honour if required.
I'm sure a few of the other patrons will stand and fight if required. Sweeney is locked in his room? Why? Has he been a naughty boy?

Well in truth, probably not, but I'm sure when the time comes I will stand behind you and defend the tavern. After all, I'm rather fond of the old place.
Sweeney is a coward? What a disappointment, he looks so fearless. Privy cleaning business? You could use your tail, I'm sure it would work better than any brush.
I shall take my seat by the window and watch for trouble, I shall need more brandy to steady my nerves for the oncoming battle.
