Hello Wayland. I'm here, thought I'd rest by the waters. I'm Maria, I know you don't know me, but I once worked for Monica at the tavern, but I got kicked out. Anyway, perhaps I'll just stay here. The view is very nice! I like waterfalls.

Hello Wayland, I saw your lights were on so I thought I would drop you off a nice radigan pie.
Ah Maria, so this is where you are living now. I am sorry about the misunderstanding at ours tavern. I was a bit shocked to come back off my holiday and find a stranger behind my bar! Monica never had the right to hire you, she never worked there and was never engaged to Urat, she had him drugged at her house. Deluded witch, I hear she has completely descended into madness now. Serves her right, a love potion can act as a poison if the heart resists it and woe betide anyone who hurts someone I love... Anyway, I am glad you have found somewhere to stay. Sorry we don't need any more staff at the moment but if business picks up we will bear you in mind. Pop in for a drink sometime, I'll buy you one.

Oh. I am new in the mire. Monica seemed very nice. Not spoken, or seen her since, explains why I suppose. Dear me. That sounds bad. I'm not planning to annoy anyone. I'm just an elf. I am happy to stay here, just trying to make friends. Thanks! Yes, remember me if you need another barmaid. I'm very friendly.

I am sure Wayland will make you feel right at home here but if you are ever in need of a girlie chat about men, makeup and such things do join us at the tavern. Although best not to talk yo Sweeney about such things or he starts yawning very rudely. Will you tell Wayland I have left him this pie?

Yes. We've had a long journey. I hope that finally we can put an end to old concerns. I think I'll play my flute. I know the music relaxes you, and eases the tensions of the day.

Vedriss, if I massage your shoulders I will not be able to play the flute. Yes. It will come as some relief. Peace at last. Just sit and relax and I shall play. Tomorrow we hunt.

I don't like Grimney much, and I dislike the thought of going to the mire. I think we should stay here until we get news. It's a good a spot as any.
