Have you ever noticed how nice churches are,
and the churches grounds
whilest the rest of the surronding area is run down

if you want to be a catherlic or follow christianity
if you want to be good or do a good deed
then stop spending money on your churches
and spend it on your community
lord cant you see, we need to be freed
from this misery
but God cant interfior and thats what we get told

I love this!
I am torn though, although I agree money is more usefully spent on the community, the beautiful buildings of our land are a source of inspiration and solace to so many. Probably those that find ways of bringing the community together to uphold and support these buildings would be best. Properly bringing the community together not just those with shed loads of money or snobbery. Oh dear I'm rambling........

your not ramberling its good to get feed back also good to hear and learn about other peoples opinions and thoughts so thank you for comenting i agree with you that churches are a inspiration and other buildings are too and in that sense its well worth spending money on them as its good motivation to look at somthing so amzing beautiful e.g the cathederal in lincoln. i just wish they that would say thats the reason for spending so much money on churches because then i could relate to where there coming from but when they say its for God thats when it anoys me as God doesnt and wouldnt care about what building you worship him in as long as your worshiping him it should be alright you ge me? now im ramberling xD

your totaly right the peoplr who manage to get the support for the churches would do a great job at bringing communitys together. i cant help think that maybe if we had stronger comunities then we wouldnt of had so meny people rioting, i know people say it was opertunists but some areas had been building up the anger at the police the goverment and proberly even the world :p for a while and then let it explode = the riots. i want to make i clear im not justifing the riots
