It was meant as a bit of a wind-up, as some comptemporary poetry has that feel to it. Maybe I just don't get it?

Well that's how I read it, with an edge of the ridiculous, which is why I thought the last 3 lines were so good.
I'm a bit ignorant when it comes to poetry types, sorry!

Just to let you know that I put the url to your website in the browser and it wouldn't find it. I have now found the blog using a search engine, but it might slow down traffic if the address is wrong. Nice photo btw!

If you go to the user control panel, profile and edit signature then you should be able to put your url in there where it should become a link and you can check it works ok.
