Perhaps Wayland will know. Kalvos is doing much better thanks to Wayland's skilled healing, he even asked if he mighty have some radigan pie! A sure sign that the poison has left no damage. I hope Urat will return with a brave warrior tonight, I have no wish to go through that again. I have no time for bullies.

Don't forget to pass a slice of pie under the door to Sweeney. He's grumbling away to himself up there, I feel quite bad but he is still insisting that he will tell Gideon Drake. Hope Urat won't be too cross that we've locked up the privy cleaner!

Sweeney Green. I am sorry that he feels the way he does. His is a menial job, but the most important one in the tavern. You don't miss Urat when he is on a trip, but if Sweeney wasn't around, and the tavern was dirty, you would notice that.

He makes sure all is clean, and we are healthier for that. Who would eat and drink here if Sweeney had not done his work?

You are wrong Wayland! I do miss Urat when he is he is not here, I think he is the soul of this place and I do appreciate Sweeney. Although I feel there are plenty of Urat's less picky customers who would drink here regardless of whether there was a privy or not.

I'll be brief, as I wish no misfortune to those gathered here. Urat has run into a little local trouble, but he's fine, at least for now. There are watchers in the mire, some of them are cruel. You may have noticed less visitors to the tavern, that's because many know the danger, or have been warned off. They want the knight, and by taking him out of the 'game' they plan to bring Gideon Drake back to the tavern, and then they want to trap him and kill him too. Gideon's death would cause a war, and Kellerman Bolt would march in here and slaughter everyone. It would play to his favour, and to Grimwood Scribes, who wants Grimney all to himself.

Only the dead are without threat, blood must be shed. I shall be near. I have my reasons to stay close, and I have my skills. Urat will return, but he cannot cross the mire, they'll cut his throat. Do you know who the watchers are?
