Raising taxes is a good thing, but as they were raised only last month, I think we should hold back from any conflict.

If there are traitors here then they will be brought to book, just as Sir Robert Pearl and Absolem Darke have been.....

No. We would never wage war on the merfolk, that can never happen, but Lucia we cannot allow interbreeding between species, we must maintain our human purity. I do not support the slaughter of other species, but I do believe we should keep them separated from us, intimacy between humans is naturally accepted, but questions need to be raised in regards to the other matter. It is no doubt unnatural.

I believe that Carados should be brought before the Hugh Council and answer for his actions.... I would not support war with our Queen, for sick though she is, she is a pure blood human, and were she to perish only a pure blood can be permitted to take her place.

You are forgetting Lord Silas that Carados is a pure blood. This whole mess came about because of your bungled assassination attempt on the Duke of Zoltar. Oh don't look at me like that we all know Godric Vulpinn worked for you.

As for Sir Robert Pearl, I am still waiting for you to produce the evidence of this supposed treason. If he has been accused then he must stand trial but I have seen nothing but hearsay.

Times are changing. Besides it is not like a Queen has not been a half blood before... and it is not unconstitutional. Primogeniture is the only prerequisite. That means Carados and then the Princess Philomena are the only true heirs. It is enshrined in ancient law.
