My goodness. It is so fortunate that you are all here. I am indeed tired. I found Kalvos walking through the forest, he was badly wounded. At least he is no longer shedding blood. Songs, tears, kisses and fairy dust, our noble soldier is a victim, but a victim of good fortune to be in the care of such fine characters methinks. I'm sure with you all watching over him he will make a full recovery, although I fear that once recovered he will return to his warrior life. :|

The knight sleeps soundly Gwenllian, and you should be tucked up in bed my dear, it's very late! I think Kalvos is out of danger, I just hope the outlaws have not followed a blood trail here.

I wonder if there is any more news on Xibes? I hope Wayland's friend is safe this night too.

At least eve is fast asleep in her feather bed up in the beams, and I must say she did a fine job tidying up the place.

I also heard the good news from Philomena, a column in the Grimney Herald if she so chooses, although Felix Roujay sounds a little shallow.

Anyway, I must depart, I'm tired, and although tonight was quiet the last two days have been a quite a task. I shall sleep until the midday suns are at there reddest and hottest. Sweet dreams my dears! :D

It seems I am too early. I am going to a town north of here, where a sister is being inducted into our order. I am curious to see what her gift will be. Maybe it will be peace or truth. Maybe hospitality or wisdom. Time will tell.

Such a fine beautiful day. I have been diving through the waters of Grimney lake all morning and feel quite radiant. I have come to bring Urat breakfast in bed, although it is so late it will be more like lunch in bed. I have also made some chicken broth for Kalvos, I rather like taking care of wounded humans. There is something so sweet in their mortality. What a fine thing happened last night. What good can happen when humans, fairies and mermaids work together. I think that Kalvos knows a little something about being loved now and also I think he loves us a little in return, he cared enough to want to write that letter.
It is very exciting about being offered a column, the mire could do with a touch more glamour.

It has indeed been a beautiful day. The two suns are as hot as a dragon's tonsils, and the sky is a lovely light green. Trouble with the heat, it makes the swamp stink more.

I must paddle in Grimney lake one day! Mire water tends to cling to the skin, and it really smells bad. Thanks for the breakfast Philomena, I'm as stuffed as a hog that has eaten a large grindal sausage that's been stuffed inside a big oat cake multi layered bun. :?

I laid in bed all afternoon, I know you ladies have been looking after our patient, so I've had a very lazy time, I read the paper, Frempton Parswick has just won the Cobble Sticks Championships the Third year running!

I smoked six cigars, burned a hole in a bed sheet, and filled my bed with crumbs. I must be careful with cigars, don't want the tavern burned down again.

Yes Kalvos, it will do him good to be cared for, it does us all good. I looked in on him, he looks like a little boy. He's fast asleep and eve was sat on the bedpost sprinkling him with more very dust, and singing that song she shared with us a few days ago. I liked that tune.

Yes. Philomena the mermaid journalist and fashion guru! That will be good. Oh any news on Silas and Darius? I think I'll brew a hot cup of dewberry tea. Would you like one?

I'll just pop up and sing a song with eve. I've brought a bowl of waterlilies and crystal-clear water from Grimney lake to put in his room. He likes beautiful things and I think they will bring him some peace. I'll comb his hair too, it can get in such a mess when you sleep unless you have elven silk pillowcases. I'll be down and join you for tea in a few minutes.

We should all have a picnic by the lake soon, I could teach you to swim.

What a lovely gesture. He won't want to go back to soldiering with all the attention and kindness you are all showing him. He's a lucky man. I shall make a brew whilst you are away and leave it boiling.

I've asked Oak to fix the stable door, he's always very helpful, and refused the tobran I offered. I quite like picnics, I used to have them all the time when my wife was alive. Teach me to swim? I never do anything but sink. :roll:

I'm afraid that many of the Governor's staff are crooked, you might be wise to send him a grovelling letter. I've met the man, he's a bit eccentric. :?

Now, let's make that dewberry brew...

Oh Kalvos does look so sweet asleep, I couldn't help but kiss him once more. I don't want Kalvos to go back to being a soldier. Are you sure Gideon won't let us keep him? You could use a new barman and he does like the mire. If not maybe he will return to us after the war? That could happen, couldn't it? Once there is peace in Grimney there will be no need for Kalvos to be a soldier. When he is well enough to travel we can hitch the kelpie to your cart and all frolick in the lake.

What sort of man is the governor? You say he is eccentric but is he cruel? I better write that letter, do you have a quill I can borrow?
