Eve? Urat? Are you both asleep still? I will leave a little note at the bar for you both. I awoke this morning to find Kalvos's mare drinking at the lake, riderless and foamy sweat upon her body. The kelpie spoke to her, her master has fallen in Grimney Wood. She tried to return to the tavern but was chased by wolves, she is terrified poor creature. I have left in the stable with some sweet hay and some water. I shall try to look for Kalvos but the woods are a large place. Perhaps both of you could look for him as well once you wake up? I hope we find him before someone or something else does!

I'm sorry for last night. Glosnik is a good man, but troubled. He sees the truth of all things, and that is a burden that weighs him down. He is here to find peace and, perhaps, joy. He needs it greatly.

He was up long before me. I saw him sitting by the waterfall. He seemed calm. I think it has done him some good.

Glosnik and I are of the same, how shall I say it? The same kind? The same order? We are not brothers by birth. It is a style of address we use for each other.

I see that our host is a modest man. Perhaps military once? He has probably told you many a tale, but he keeps the best hidden, and I will not reveal it. I will just say, if you knew the truth of this man, who he was, and what he has done, you would consider it the greatest of honours to breathe the same air as he.

I read your note Philomena, I shall go to the woods at once and help to search, I don't know where eve and Urat are maybe they have already gone to the woods, Let us hope we shall find him alive and well.

Oh my. Yes, I shall fix your breakfast sir, my master left as soon as he woke, he's gone looking for a missing knight. He's probably been killed, if that's the case Gideon will return and burn down the tavern.

Not that it matters to you stranger, I suppose what I've said to you isn't the warmest welcome. Urat is a good man, but I've never thought him great, only in size and weight.
