Pasts should not be forgotten. I myself once sang with the sirens, I turned away as my cousins tore their victims flesh from their bones and knew I could not spill blood like they did. I would not forget my time with them for all the world, it showed me that we all have darkness in our hearts. I have their beautiful songs within my heart but will never sing them.

The man that I was is long since dead. Though I can blame Zarko and those that bullied and ostracised me as a child, I must still take responsibility for may own words and actions during that time. The only good thing about it is that it drove me into the service of the King for fear of my sanity.

The pain and hurt of the time has been much healed. I have forgiven those that hurt me, and forgiven myself for who I was.

My memories of those years are as a fog, and I wish that the fog abide.

For my part, I will pursue love, and peace, and joy. I will delight in friendship, in the things of nature, and unexpected wonder.

What have we here? All this vanity! Witches, wizards and mermaids, should be a law against magic, freaks of nature.

Your barman sent me inside. He's washed his hands of these two reprobates. The bail stands at two hundred tobran each. I'm taking them along to Macewind Prison, if you want to make an offer for their release send me a written message. Personally, I'd string them up from a tree, but I'm not allowed to make that choice.

Depends on what they've done. The Governor of Macewind likes to make examples of pirates. I noticed that mirror of yours. What other magical items do you have?

Urat I have bailed the pair of them but when they arrive keep them off the brandy and rum. Maybe a nice cup of dewberry tea and a radigan pie for them though. If you can keep them out of mischief for a little while I'd be so pleased.

They aren't pirates, just a pair of drunks. I don't have much magic that can be used by humans but I do a have comb that can change your hair to any colour you want.
