Gwenllian, Wayland you come to a place of heavy hearts indeed. Our dear ice maiden has been taken, away high into the mountains by her evil mother. We await Kalvos, I have called his name unto the winds and they tell me he rides with great haste. We hope it will help us, if not then I do not know what we will do. Wayland!do you cast protection spells? I fear my enchanted songs may not be enough to keep little Xibes safe until a rescue party can be sent.

I have no spells as such, but I have asked the Instructor to bring peace to Xibes and her mother. Such peace renders the evil powerless, gives the good courage and may bring about reconciliation.

I have two other matters I feel I must make known.

Firstly, while in the great city, I found some trees strangely shaped. One, which looked as if it bled, could almost be believed to have once been an ogre of some kind. I have added the pictures to the gallery.

Also, the patch of Blue Golus seems much larger than before. It may be a trick of the mind, but I could swear it has grown by half since I last saw it. I know nothing of this blue kind, so whether this is for good or ill, I cannot tell.
