I LOVE MY TWISTED MIND

I really think I've lost my mind
I'm always leaving it behind
And usually it follows on
But this time it has really gone

I lost it with a simple pill
So I could sit alone and still
While everyone around me plays
My mind is stifled in a daze

Why do I keep on losing it
Without it life is truly shit
I hate this life where I can cope
With always being such a dope

Pretending to be everything
That drugs and medicine will bring
But deep inside this empty head
I'm feeling nothing only dead

Nobody cares if I withdraw
And turn into a total bore
As long as they are feeling good
I'm doing what they think I should

I often wonder if it's me
Or is it them who cannot see
That I was meant to laugh and shout
It's who I am without a doubt

I hope my mind comes back to me
So I can feeI feel normality
And I don't care if it offends
I 'm done with swapping it for friends



This is a past poem. It doesn't apply now...thankfully.
I've since realized that what's normal for other people just doesn't work for me and what's normal for me is actually pretty cool! Wahay!!

Well, I certainly have reverted to the norm...my own norm that is. Everyone else can stick their own norms up their bums...with my help if they need it...or even if they don't!!

Actually, I should make it clear that don't mind other people and their norms...as long as they don't try to push their norms on to me. I already have a norm...and it needs its own space...a lot of it!!

I know what I mean anyway...probably the only one.
