And the Gold Fever continues
With Post Boxes repainted
Much enthusiam oozes
Which country's sainted?
Hope the closing ceremony
Is as excellent as the Opening's
Stars, volunteers, fans and not least pony
Celebrating with golden swing
Elated and Ecstatic athletes
All delivered more than their best
Thanks to all clapping in seats
& especially our Royal Guest
But it is not over yet :!:
So please shout, Medals More!
Today for our country, pet
As Team GB have more gold to score
