Gaunt. I don't even know if Kalvos is here. I was posted to Sir Robert's cottage to guard the princess. Dravenore was left here in charge of the tavern. And the barmaid doesn't seem to know where he is.

The princess may well be a spy. Think about it Shayle. She enters our land and what does she do? Get's involved with Kalvos, a simple man who is connected to many high ranking nobles in the land, a knight who also has contact with our Queen. Who knows what information the fool is feeding her. He knows our military plans, our troop movements, the locations of all our forts, and the size of our army.

I get the impression that the princess has no intention of returning to the sea. You have a very suspicious mind Gaunt. Sir Robert trusts and respects her, and I am not inclined to doubt his judgement.

Keeler has expressed his concerns to the High Council. Princess Philomena moves in very shady circles. She's been sighted at the Blue Dragon, talking with criminals. She was observed at the Black Pillar, and visited Remus Casson late one night. We suspect she is gathering information. Whatever the case she is a security risk. It would be better for all if Kalvos did not survive the dual.

It's not your duty to think such thoughts. We follow orders. We are not here to question things. Sir Robert Pearl is in charge. I only listen to him. Kalvos will fight his duel. The Queen's Elite stand by his right to win his freedom.
