I'm here my love
Don't be afraid
Her hand held gently in mine
Loving squeeze not reciprocated
Trying to smile
No disguise for knowing eyes
Drifting deeper and deeper
Into her Morphine dream
Rest now sweetheart
I love you

Oh dear, you're going to make me sad. Very moving.

Lovely poem Hogstance, really moving.

Baggage, I watched that, hardly ever watch TV but sat down and there it was. Really thought provoking wasn't it, well done I thought.

I was in floods of tears :( I know I'm pathetic, but it was so hard to take in. Self-centred I know, but reminded me of similar times and provoked an emotional reaction.

That made me cry Hoggy. Life can be so heart breaking and painful, but thank God for love.

That is very moving - I just read it to my sister as I remembered it from reading the other day and wanted to share it with her...because it is so touching.
