The plot has thickened I'm confused
It's rare to see me thus
I often know what's going on
But now with all this fuss
I'm trying to believe it all
And tie it all together
But nothing seems to marry up
And I can't work out whether
The boy who came collecting here
Went off to meet his fate
I can't remember if he left
Or if his flesh I ate

I'm sure I wouldn't want to harm
A fellow witch's boy
Although it's true I like to play
And often quite annoy
But no, I'm sure I'm right in this
The boy did meet some louts
And should have breathed his last in vain
From constant fighting bouts

I hear that he was healed and freed
And emptied of his pain
Elvira's boy was saved from death
No more the reaper's gain
But now he boards with Mrs West
Oh how I hate her pity
And so despise her happy ways
In floral frocks so pretty

Oh Mrs West with heaving chest
You really make me sick
I want to boil you in my pot
And give your bones a lick

I hear you laughing long and hard
It makes me want to gag
And now you have Elvira's boy
I've really lost my rag

So Mrs West with heaving chest
And laughter fit to burst you
Give up the boy for Hell's own sake
Before I come and curse you

And may well take your favour
But for a while I'll stay alone,
I have someone to play with...

But when she leaves I may concede
I'll need another man,
And thank you, Kindest ever Witch
To bring him when you can.

And Tanza, what a feast awaits!
My eyes can hardly wait
To see those bad men gobbled down
On Tanza's dinner plate.

My Gathering Boy must lie abed
And stay with Mrs West,
And maybe I will take him back,
If he can pass my test.

Now goodness does not drip from me,
Nor evil run me through
Take payment for this irksome phase?
That, I will surely do.

Did draw some harm that day,
I failed to understand,
That politics
Had come his way.

A lesson learnt no doubt
To take good care before you speak,
For consequence can bite you
And the future turn out bleak.

What an interesting journey that was. So much learnt, so much...well, destroyed really, but that's incidental. :?
Happily I no longer have need of a gathering boy. I have gathered a gathering girl. And very pleased I am with her. She will do very well.
Isadora is her name. I found her by one of the portals. Once her injuries have healed I'm confident she'll forget the unpleasantness I rescued her from. Just goes to show you can never judge a person from what they say. He told her he was a healer. He was a healer like I'm afraid of the dark. I'd like to see him heal himself now. :twisted:

Elvira, that is good news.

There are many of my kind, but there are also dark ones that masquerade as members of our group. I, myself, was a victim of one many years ago. They promise healing, but their price is enslavement of mind, body and spirit.

I have no doubt that she is safe in your care, but offer my aid should you have need of it.
