Mrs West...yes, you took me in and looked after me, but I paid a price in return. My private business was spread around Grimney like wildfire and you did the 'right thing' in telling my stepfather, King Ulrik, that I was at your home. I have been lucky to escape alive on many occasions...from his men...trying to destroy me. There is more to this, as you well know, but for now...I will let it go. I am watching you.

I don't know where you are going to welcome me back to...I have no wish to be welcomed back. At the risk of upsetting everyone AGAIN...even one single minute spent with you...discussing the different types of frilly bows one can have on one's blouses and how different fabrics and colours can affect one's moods...would invoke the most raging head cramps in my already bursting brain! The thought of hearing you drone on and on at me about the benefits of matching underwear turns my guts over and over...until they errupt from my gullet. Matching underwear might work for you...but I'm really not that kind of female. Spontaneity is more my style...I jump on them...they surrender...end of.

I have only just recovered from the suggestion that the coven might spend time knitting and sewing. These activities bring me out in a rash which I believe would be fatal over time.

I hope we are all getting along now, talk of bows, bangles and war are all the same to me, distasteful.

How about celebration of differences and bygones be bygones?

I am just brimming with excitement at my new lodgers. It's a good job I have the biggest house around. I can accommodate many large strapping men. Of course I keep them well away from the youngsters I regularly take into my bosom.

I am positively spoilt for choice for cosy chats by the fireside. They do talk a lot of war and violence, but they are jolly men all the same. I like to listen to their tales as I pour out the tea. I am so lucky to be so popular, with all the men and women around here. I must just be a lovely person to be around.

Tanza, you haven't been round yet. I was hoping we could put our problems behind us and work out a way to get along. I suppose you are too busy with your knitting. We should knit together sometime. Bring your friends. Oh yes, you don't have any. Oh well, never mind. I have plenty and would be happy to introduce you to them. My lodgers would be interested in meeting you I'm sure. I hear you like to please men in a way nobody else can imagine or even understand. I never could understand your willingness to cheapen yourself at every turn. Each to their own I suppose.

Nydas, you really should try some knitting. It can be so relaxing. We should have tea sometime and organise a sewing circle or something. I do love a good session of crochet, don't you? I am currently shirring a lovely smock for one of my youngest girls. I would make one for Tanza, but I don't think I have enough elastic to spare, or any fabric strong enough.

I hope I can make good friends of you Coven ladies. I'm sure you're not all as bad as I imagine. I really must be getting on. I have three brawling men in my larder. I don't want my new delivery of rice being bounced on. Exploding bags of rice. So annoying.

Yes Baggage...and sounds rather too perfect to be true...seems to be a lot of that around here lately.

Mrs West...I get the feeling The Coven members are being lured into a trap of some sort, but I'm afraid I would need to be tempted by something a lot more appetizing than a cup of tea...like your head on a stick maybe?...yummy!

I suppose I shouldn't be so suspicious all the time. I may even come over for a chat and see if I can get to know your new lodgers a bit better. I've already mated with a couple of them...they were a lot quieter after that...most are...I think it's the shock.

Who needs matching underwear?...PAH!
