That made me tearful. It is a beautiful though.

I wrote this for my wonderful wife (and mother to my 2.5 year old daughter) who died of cancer two days before Christmas 2010, aged 36. We included this in the order of service because I would never have been able to read it out on the day. Roses bathe in her glorious sunshine Oceans ebb and flow as she breathes Stars shimmer enviously at her eyes Sands of time, stand still and admire Love longs for her company Yesterday yearns to see her again Nobody is somebody because of her. |

Hi, read what you said about your wife. Cannot offer much in the way of comfort, but I think as a community here in Grimney, we do care. Glad you have joined us and as they say, it's like being individual ships at sea, we are all on our own on the rocky ocean, but beneath the waves on the seabed we are all calm and joined as one. Heard that analogy somewhere, always been a favorite, but not sure I quoted it right.

Thanks for your kind words and thoughts. Started to feel more like myself recently, as opposed to some sort of automaton that was programmed to be sad; I wouldn't be posting here otherwise.

I think there are probably many here who would credit Grimney with some definite healing properties. There are tears, pain, love and laughter to be had on these pages and I am very happy to be part of it. Your poem is truly beautiful LegoStan. |

Hello Nydas Thank you so much for your kind words in this thread and the one over at the Tavern. There's certainly something very cathartic about sharing these feelings and reading the words of others who've faced their own difficulties.

Yes I agree with Nydas, Witch, Willow and Vamp. It is very tragic and sad. So sorry, but you are amongst good natured Grimney cyber friends here by the looks of things, I've already chatted to a lot of very kind and friendly people. I know a wound like that can never really heal, but others can and do soothe the pain sometimes. Lovely poem by the way, you have a good soul.
