I usually call myself a natural celibate, but, after reading an article in the BBC online magazine, I have concluded that I am an aromantic asexual. I have connected with a group called AVEN, and I am meeting others in Oxford this Saturday. I did like dining and dating, but the ladies I went out with in the past expected more from me, but did not make the hint obvious for me. As for me, I had no inclination to take the relationships to the next level. I was enjoying having ladies to go out with and talk to. When I did have a "normal" relationship, my reaction was "Is this it? What's all the fuss about?" |
