The fifty fair daughters of the sea,
Their voices so sweet sing to me.
Beautiful creatures of dancing waves,
Living in the deep silver caves

Hippothoe rider of the swift horse;
Doto keeps ships on their course.
Pasithea like her name is all-divine;
Halimede is the lady of the brine.
Amathia preens her lovely hair;
Cymatolege has charms to still the air.
Evarne a figure of perfect grace;
Amphithoe makes the swift current race.
Limnoreia reigns in all salt-marsh;
Orithyria makes her seas rage harsh.

Amphitrite is Poseidon’s fair wife;
Sao will save a sailors life.
Autonoe is strong and free of will;
Cymodoce whispers the waves to still.
Dynamene holds the power of the seas,
Plexaure is of the twisting breeze.
Nemertes gives counsel that is wise;
Calypso remains hidden from men’s eyes.
Ceto watches sea-monster roam;
Galatea dances in the milky foam.

Cymothoe is the nereid of running waves;
Speio ruler of the dark sea caves.
Thetis the beautiful leader of them all;
Themisto ensures that sea-laws rule.
Eudora the sea’s gifts will bring;
Eumolope makes the sailors sing.
Dexamine has strength of the right hand;
Eione the nereid of the beach strand.
Panopeia sings of the sea’s wide view;
Glauce of the waters grey-blue.

Actae is the divinity of rocky shore,
Doris stays where brine meets water pure.
Eunice brings fine victory with a smile,
Nesaie the goddess of every isle.
Leagore assembles silver shoals of fish,
Clymene can brings fame should she wish.
Melite loves calm sea with gentle breeze
Amphinome controls the bounty of the seas
Menippe makes waves tall and strong
Nausithoe hurries ships swift along.

Eulimene makes safe harbour been seen,
Protomedeia is called the sea’s first queen.
Dione lovely nereid so divine,
Halia is another nymph of the brine.
Glauconome is mistress of the sea turned grey;
Eurcrante fills fishermen’s nets each day.
Pontomedusa wears a sea-queens crown;
Poulynoe has a rich mind beneath her frown.
Psamathe is the golden sand’s divinity;
Euroupe protects the pilgrims of the sea.

Each nymph divine is so fair of fair,
Their beauty outshines the human race.
Praise their name in all the waters,
The Old Man of the Sea’s lovely daughters.

Learning something of your undersea world Philomena, are all those people going to visit? Noticed one of them in the tavern! Enjoyed that poem though. Grimney is such a refreshing an interesting place. Must come in for that drink sometime!

I hope they won't visit Debra, having of my aunts visit would be rather trying for me and I think Bolte would have a fit if so many mermaids flooded into Grimney.
