With apologies to my fellow menfolk, I did this for a breather as i am in the middle of some heavier stuff...hope it gives you all a smile

A Womans Tale.


Gazing up at open sky
I sit alone and wonder why

God made men so much alike
And made relationships a hike,

They never listen when we speak
They always say that we are weak

They carry washing to the bin
But struggle so to put it in

Rim on Bath and hair in sink,
Toilet seat...well where'd you think?!

Then it's time to watch the telly
Lager Tin upon his belly

Footy, sex and cars that roar
is all you hear though it's a bore

We just yearn for conversation
but we are the poor relation.

What of love and thoughts I'm keeping?
Oh why bother... look he's sleeping.

Just a cuddle, softest kiss
Is all that women really miss

But alas it's not to be,
for we are women cant you see

A fumble here a fumble there,
You're just acting like you care

In fact it gets so bloody boring
He asks why you started snoring..

You explain that your were sighing
he's too dense to tell your lying

Now he's finished grunting groping
You got less than you were hoping

Still at least he's soon asleep
leaving you your thoughts to keep,

So when you travel to your maker..
Walk up to the Pearly Gate..
God may say "now you can enter",
this time you say "no you wait !."

"Send me down to meet the devil
for i know just where i am"

"Washing clothes and sweeping hallways
Pushing round the bloody pram !"

"On my headstone scribe this ditty
dont delete a single word"

"What is it that women want ?
Why ask a bloke ?...He wont have heard!."

Three golden rules: Respect her, listen to her and always remember 'ladies first'. A cup of tea in bed is a winner too.

Yeah, I love tea in bed.

Of course, I don't date, not in the usual sense.

I have some rules that govern most of my relationships;

1) Respect, always. Even when you disagree.
2) The other persons happiness is paramount. Bear that in mind, and your own happiness will follow as a result.
3) Always be positive in your comments and observations,
4) Don't dwell on mistakes or problems. Chances are, the other person already knows they have done wrong, so they don't need reminding.
5) Encourage the other person to have a vision of what they can be - their vision, not yours. The vision must be positive and achievable. Having a vision that can never be achieved can cause discouragement and depression.

Well thankyou all, I am sure i will take all your thoughts on board !. Glad you enjoyed the read, now must get back to some more "pallatable" work. :D
